SIMs are available in standard SIM, Micro SIM, Industrial SIM and embedded chip SIM form factors, while monitoring and control functionality, is made available through dedicated ePortals, allowing you to manage large global deployments of devices easily.
Fixed IP SIM Cards
Fixed IP Addressing over a Private or Public APN, Peer to Peer, two-way connectivity, Transfer acceleration and compression technology, Data encryption technology, Access and management of data via a public or Private IP Web Page, Access and user control, SIM Management, device connection management traffic analysis, VPN protocol management and fraud control.
A fixed IP address is sometimes known as a static IP address. It is an address that is assigned to a computer by an Internet service provider (ISP) to be its permanent address on the Internet.
Connected devices use IP addresses to locate, connect and talk to each other on the Internet, much the same way people use phone numbers to locate and talk to one another on the telephone. The machine will retain that IP address no matter how many times it connects/disconnects from a network, whereas a dynamic IP address will be changed once the device disconnects and reconnects to a network.
Private APNs are also used to secure data ensuring that your data never goes on to a public network, staying completely on GPRS/3G/4G cellular networks. This added security means that you will not be open to attack external parties, such as spammers or virus-based activities.
Fixed IP SIM cards combined with a cellular router allows you to remotely connect to the router and using port forwarding connect to your devices on the LAN side of the router. This makes the combination of a router and Fixed IP SIM ideal for many applications including:
Adaptive Modules provides O2, EE and Vodafone fixed IP SIM cards with a selection of tariffs to choose from.
